Program
Day 1: Arrival in Bogotá and the first night in
La Candelaria (the colonial center of Bogotá).
Day 2: City tour including Cerro Monserrate, a walk through La
Candelaria and entrance to the famous Gold Museum or Donacion
Botero.
Day 3: White Water Rafting
on Rio Negro or Rappel depending the season. Another night in
La Candelaria.
Day 4: We take the morning bus to Manizales where we stay in the
city center.
Day 5: Day tour
to
Nevado del Ruíz (5300m) including breakfast. Second night in the
center of Manizales.
Day 6: Bus to Medellin and a short city tour including the cable car
up to Santa Domingo.
Day 7: Visit the colonial city of Santa Fé de Antioquia. Night spend
in this colonal village.
Day 8: Visit Puente de Occidente and transport back to Medellín.
Night out in Poblado and Mango's (the famous disco).
Day 9: Flight to Santa Marta and transport to hotel in the center of
town. The rest of the day off for relaxing on the nearby beaches.
Day 10: Bus to Quebrada Valencia and in the afternoon bus to
National Park
Tayrona.
Night in hammocks in front of the beach in the park.
Day 11: Day off to visit the nearby beautiful beaches in the park or
walk to Pueblito. Second night in the park.
Day 12 - 16: Tour to the Lost City with local guide including meals
& drinks.
Day 16: Back in Santa Marta to get a shower and relax.
Day 17: Bus to Cartagena and night in Getsemani (close to Colonial
center and nightlife).
Day 18: Day tour
to
Islas del Rosario and Playa Blanca, including lunch and snorkeling.
Day 19: Day off to see more of the city or to go to the nearby
beaches
Day 20: Taxi to airport and end of tour.
