Custom-made Tours
One
of our specialties is the unique opportunity to custom-design your
own tour. These trips are the result of a combination of the
customer´s wishes and the advice of DE UNA. This way you can
freely choose the destinations of your tour, the modes of transport,
the dates, and much more.
As a
matter of principle, everything is possible, but we suggest
consulting the itineraries of our guided tours as the starting point
for planning your custom-made tour. This way you obtain a good
impression of the sites we visit, the highlights there and how we
travel in Colombia. The advantage of custom-designing a trip is that
you can then combine tours, make suggestions, spend more or less
time in a place, and additionally, we take your special
wishes into account.
A
trip like this is ideal for small groups, like a family or group of
friends. Couples can also benefit from this option. In the end, we
will arrange a tour with a DE UNA guide, a combination of packages
and guided tours, or an arrangement consisting just of packages.

Roots Travel
A trip to discover your roots
always is a custom-made tour. Together with the adopted person (and
his/her adoptive family), we design a tour to get to know Colombia.
If the security situation permits we usually plan to visit the
region of birth of the adopted person. A visit to the hospital
of birth, the church of baptism, or to the section of the city or
village of the biological family can also be included. In contrast,
we no longer offer to search for the biological family, or to
arrange meetings between the adopted person and the biological
family. We leave these activities to professional organizations
specialized in these matters.
If you are
interested in a tour to learn about your roots, or if you would like
more information about this topic, please fill in this
form.
Every year the Dutch adoptee orgainzations
Los Hijos
and Wereldkinderen
organize roots travel to Colombia. The tour component of these trips
is organized by DE UNA. If you are interested in these tours, please
contact those organizations directly.
